Dr. José Zaglul, founding president of EARTH University and SHI board member, reflects on the importance of community partnership, education, and knowledge-sharing in creating a healthier and more equitable world. Despite the challenges we face as a global society, Zaglul remains optimistic. As he says, “I believe in the capacity of individuals and organizations to change the status quo and change the world. An organization like SHI is at the forefront of the positive forces working with many smallholder farmers in regenerative agriculture and, most importantly, in regenerating their hopes and aspirations in life.”
