Jorge Ramos - Field Trainer
At 24 years old I graduated with an Engineering Degree in Business Administration Agropecuarias. I got to know about how SHI works as a professional in this field, expanding and sharing my knowledge single handedly with each of the families. We serve, teach and make good use of our natural resources found in our region, providing improvements in the quality of life of our rural families.
Daysbeth Lopez - Small Business Promoter
Daysbeth is a graduate of the La Pintada Professional Institute, where she received a degree in Agronomy and Animal Husbandry. "La Pintada Professional Institute is located near one of the work areas of SHI in Panama (Anton), and I have lived in this area all my life, so my professional background and employment with SHI fit perfectly with what I wanted to do within my community. I truly appreciate the opportunity to offer what I have learned to the families of the place where I'm from. I help them with any difficulties they encounter in production using sustainable methods, soil management and protection of the environment. I want to thank SHI for what it does in Panama, and for giving me the opportunity to contribute to that."
Diomedes Arrocha - Field Trainer
I started working with Sustainable Harvest 1 year ago after having worked in other institutions and organizations that promote improvements in the quality of life of rural families. My main interest in working with SHI is that each family has the opportunity to receive direct input unbureaucratically from SHI. In addition, each family chooses the project he likes, so there is a lower probability of failure in different projects.
Maribel Ojo - Field Trainer
I graduated Bachelor of Commerce, then worked in domestic activities with a Jewish family in the capital city of Panama. When I returned to my home community, I met Sustainable Harvest International. The project came to my house and worked with my relatives and neighbors for a year and a half in a plot growing vegetables using organic farming techniques. I also had experience in marketing products in the market of the capital city. I learned a lot and then I was hired to teach my knowledge to other farmers. I participated in a course Biointensivo Small-scale cultivation in the province of Chiriqui, where I had the opportunity to expand my knowledge.
Dayra Julio - Small Business Promoter
I feel happy to work with Sustainable Harvest International, owing to the fact that this organization works to improve the standard of living for those people who reside in the rural communities of our country. In addition, it contributes to the improvement of the social and economic development of the people, thus strengthening family unity and people's well-being. It's because of this that I love being a part of this organization.
