Open House, Potluck and Work Party

Join us in celebration of SHI's new permanent office location in Surry, Maine! The work afternoon will begin at 3 pm with a potluck dinner and open house to follow at 6 pm. Volunteers will be helping to plant a garden and to make the new office location "home". Please wear work clothes and bring garden tools and gloves if possible. The open house and potluck dinner will be held at 6 pm and will include a presentation on SHI's work to address the issues of poverty and deforestation in Central America. Please come and bring a dish to share, tour the house and enjoy the new garden! We've extended this invitation to our friends far and wide. We hope to see many of you there, but if you can't make it because you are far away we'd love to stay in touch and hope to catch up the next time we're in your neck of the woods.
